Examples and benchmark cases

Example of ProDiMo runs for difference cases are provided in /examples. The README file describers the models in the different directories:

  • Benchmarks/       benchmarks against results of other codes concerning certain part problems, for example PDR, XDR, continuum radiative transfer, ...
  • DiskStructure/    set up the density and dust structure in ProDiMo models, for example 2-zones, hydrodtatic structure, soft inner edges, ...
  • Lines/    control which line species to take into account in which approximation, for example big CO, ...
  • Processes/  activate different physical and chemical processes, for example large DIANA standard chemistry, surface chemistry, PAHs in RT, Xray RT, dust charges, viscous heating, MRI, eq.condensation
  • SinglePointModels/ setups for molecular cloud model, slab models, etc.
  • StandardObjects/  standard setups for certain types of objects, for example TTauri, HerbigAe, ...

In the model directories, all the required files are provided. Please read the README file if present for further instructions. Let one of the developers know if an example is not working.
